Underground (1995)

And I have to say, for once, I agree with Filmcritic.com's Christopher Null. I read him a lot and I despise when they let him review things because he seemingly hates EVERYTHING (He's given something like EIGHT ratings over 3 stars (in a five-star system) and he's the MAIN REVIEWER...

Well, anyway, I shockingly agree with him on this one, because he WASN'T being a total sourpuss: About Underground: "Kusturica creates memorable characters and puts them in increasingly surreal scenarios, but he's awfully long-winded in the storytelling. Trim an hour off this beast and you've got a masterpiece."

My thoughts exactly.
